Bachelor collection

concept

The research, process and final result of the collection celebrates the intertwining of stories and lives and the coexisting memories living within each of us. The designs are based on interviews I did with different voluntary participants in which I asked them about their most precious, earliest and life-changing memories, items that are linked to special memories, connections to colours, sounds, etc. With the help of these answers I developed a colour concept, as well as the silhouettes, patterns and embellishments. By this, the outfits contain the individual story and memories of the person wearing it. It‘s a creative way of dealing with the memories and experiences that, based on my research, make us who we are and help us form our own identities.
